Welcome to The Department of Physics


The Department of Physics provides a bachelors degree program in physics, and the first two years of a bachelors degree in engineering, as well as a masters degree in applied physics. The research of the department focuses on nonlinear optics, condensed-matter physics and mesoscopic systems, and a range of topics in quantum theory including chaos, control and thermodynamics.
