PHYSIC 616: Mathematical Methods for Physicists | |
This course covers intermediate mathematics with applications to analytical and quantum mechanics, and electromagnetic theory. Selected topics include: vector analysis, tensor algebra, linear algebra and group theory, functions of a complex variable, second-order differential equations, Fourier series and transforms, and the calculus of variations.
