PHYSIC 602: Laser Optics Laboratory

This lecture and laboratory course provides a working understanding of modern optics, lasers, and their applications. Topics include optical resonators; solid-state, gas, and semiconductor lasers; tunable die lasers; non-linear optics; and spectroscopy applications. Selected topics, which may vary from year to year according to interests of the faculty and recent technological developments, will stress practical instrumentation as well as theory.
