PHYSIC 281: Physical Laboratory I

In this class you obtain a grounding in the principles of experimental physics and error analysis by performing experiments in modern physics and optics.  When Offered: This class is offerred in the Fall semester each year.  Topics Covered: Experiments in spectroscopy, electromagnetism, optics, atomic, and nuclear physics. Prerequisites: PHYSIC 182 or permission of instructor. For physics majors PHYSIC 211 is a corequisite. UMass Boston Course Search page
