The
Department
of Physics provides a bachelors degree in physics, the first
two years of a bachelors degree in engineering, and a masters degree in
applied physics. The research of the department
focuses on nonlinear optics, condensed-matter physics and mesoscopic
systems, and a range of topics in quantum theory including chaos,
control and thermodynamics.
